Mr. Manley’s diverse background led him to President/Ownership of both FireDex of Pittsburgh Restoration and Insight Investigation which serviced seven states, including Florida. Mr. Manley served as President for various claim associations to include, Vice President of the Pennsylvania Claims Association.
Mr. Manley brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Tri-State team. He serves as the firms Vice President of Marketing and Business Development with an emphasis on expanding our client base throughout the state of Florida.
In 1989, Mr. Starkman departed Aetna and began work as an estimator and project superintendent for Fire-Craft Construction. Fire-Craft was an Insurance restoration company which specialized in mitigation and construction of insurance related claims. Upon leaving Fire Craft in 1996, Mr. Starkman became a General Adjuster for Royal Insurance Company serving as the field Adjuster for the Mid-Atlantic Region. Facilitating onsite inspections of large complex commercial property losses.
In 1999 he began working for Tri- State Insurance Adjusters, Inc. as a General Adjuster handling both residential and commercial claims for domestic and international insurers. Over the past 20 years Mr. Starkman have worked closely with Insurers, TPA’s and Attorneys in the investigation and evaluation of complex Property Damage claims. Mr. Starkman possess a strong background in facilitating catastrophic type losses. Mr. Starkman maintains active adjuster licenses in New York, Florida and Georgia, in addition to securing temporary license in any state requiring the same.
At NJM, he spent 30 years handling all types of property damage claims as a senior field adjuster. He handled large losses from fire to catastrophe events. For the last 10 years he was a Claims Supervisor in the home office. He supervised field staff in handling all types of property losses with first and third party insureds. He has worked closely with various insurer’s, legal staff, construction experts and public adjusters.
He also supervised the company’s catastrophe claims management internally while directing, coordinating, and managing independent adjusting companies during large claim events. He has an AIC designation and has taken numerous continuing education classes related to property claims.
Mr. Cherewich graduated from West Virginia University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. After serving on Active Duty in the US Army, Mr. Cherewich worked for the Department of Defense as a GS-5 technician for 2 years. In 1973, he was hired by Allstate Insurance Company. Mr. Cherewich maintained his position with Allstate for 33 years in a variety of Automobile and Homeowner Claim positions.
For the last 10 years of his employment with Allstate, Mr Cherewich was the Automobile and Homeowner Property Manager for the State of New Jersey. During that time, he also served as the Catastrophe Coordination Manager and created many claim handling best practices, including Personal Property theft claims, environmental claims, and field claim adjustments, all of which were adopted countrywide by Allstate, at that time.
In 2006, Mr. Cherewich retired from Allstate. Now with Tri-State Insurance Adjusters, Mr. Cherewich has handled thousands of property damage claims including claims for the National Flood program. Mr. Cherewich is flood certified and licensed in the state of Delaware.
Mrs. Brusco is the primary liaison with Tri-States client base. She lends support with various administrative duties including managing accounts receivables, report preparation and distribution. Mrs. Brusco often assists in the desk adjustment of minor property claims. Additionally, her duties include coverage analysis, estimate preparation, personal property evaluation, and underwriting inspections. Mrs. Brusco provides dual services to both the property and casualty divisions of the company.
Mrs. Amoruso-Hallman graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology / minor in Early Childhood/Special Education. She began her career as an Administrative Assistant specializing in customer service, computer programming and sole assistant to both the company President and CEO. Mrs. Amoruso-Hallman continued her career at AA World Class Embroidery Corporation becoming the Vice President of Human Resources where she continued with the company for 15 years . Her primary responsibilities included full profit and loss accountability, hiring new employees, company payroll, and primary liason between partner factories in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Mrs. Amoruso-Hallman accepted employment with Tri-State Insurance Adjusters, Inc. in 2015 as a Claims Administrative Assistant. She assists with review of property coverage, claim processing, communicating with the insureds and the carriers, claims management and reporting as well as daily maintanence and monitoring of the computer systems and programs. On occasion she will assist in the field facilitating the investigation an adjustment of routine property and casualty claims.
